Hello, good morning Mario, I just treated myself to a Costa Rica "Las Lajas" natural, brewed in my Chemex, and... heavenly, delicious!!!!!! Due to brain surgery, I couldn't enjoy "coffee" for over half a year, only this miserably tasting *(censored)* brew, yuck. But now, on the road to recovery, small things like a good cup of coffee are so valuable and let me start the day with a feeling of happiness, incredible! The recent experiences from mid-August until today have once again shown what makes the difference between good, very good and excellent – or, to put it another way, between 2nd Bundesliga, Bundesliga and Champions League: Your coffee from Rwanda, for example, is a border-crosser between the berry-citrusy and the chocolate-spicy coffees from this region, but it achieves what other similarly classified coffees from other roasters could not: It truly reproduces the broad spectrum from subtly fruity to milky-chocolatey and smooth, and it has its own distinct, recognizable, and aromatically differentiated character that stands out, even on the 10th brew. The same applies to the Tropical Mountains from Peru. Of course, it's rather light and smooth, but still very lively, and you notice many different flavors on the tongue – it's like a lot is happening in your mouth. Some other Peruvian coffees from other roasters also had to concede here, as they were often nice and pleasant but too monotonous in direct comparison. The same applies to the Blackburn Estate from Tanzania. Firstly, because it has a clear, unique profile that is different from the coffees you usually get from the region, and then again in direct comparison with other roasters: simply more complex.Ralf Keller, Kaffeeclub Bremen

Hello Mario, both varieties are great, but especially the Malawi variety. It tastes very sweet to us. Ever since I started ordering coffee from you, I've been drinking it without milk or sugar. I'd like to thank you for the friendly and very competent advice. I'm a newcomer when it comes to enjoying good coffee. I've since bought a Moccamaster. I don't have much peace or time for a hand filter (3 small children). I've kept the Rommelsbacher EKM 300 coffee grinder because I don't want to afford a more expensive grinder at the moment.
