Hello Mr. Liebold, after visiting your café last weekend and purchasing the Hario filter and hand grinder in addition to the excellent coffee and great conversation,I finally got around to trying it all out today, following the BrewGuide. The result was very surprising, even though I'm sure I didn't do everything perfectly yet. I can't remember ever drinking such good filter coffee.It's amazing what "simple" means can achieve in brewing good coffee. Neither our Jura fully automatic coffee machine (which I thought made good "India Royal" coffee)nor the Melitta porcelain filter (the coffee always tasted somewhat bitter) comes close in terms of taste. Coffee is much more complex than I always thought. So, many thanks again for the insight and introduction to the world of good coffee.More online coffee orders will follow, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll stop by for a coffee. 😊Kerstin and Stephan

Dear Felix, dear team, for many years I have been experimenting with enjoying coffees, the last 5 years with filter coffees. Along the way, I have ordered, enjoyed, and compared a variety of different types from various growing regions from selected roasteries. The experiences I have gained, especially regarding the interaction between roast and variety, and also the psychology of perception when enjoying coffee, continue to be highly interesting. All the more, it was a pleasure for me to meet you, Felix, in person today at your coffee shop on Lake Tegernsee. My utmost respect for your enthusiasm and the way you live your calling. For me, you are one of the most talented roasting artists who regularly manages to coax the varietal-specific aroma spectrums from the coffee beans and thus make their individual "soul" palpable to the connoisseur.
